Your First Private Reformer Pilates Session in North Harrow
Trying the Reformer for the first time brings practical questions: where to go, what the equipment does and how to decide whether the format suits you. At Body Print Pilates, Reformer sessions are taught one to one by Hina Patel at 34 Suffolk Road, North Harrow, HA2 7QQ.
What is the Reformer?
A Reformer has a moving carriage, springs and straps. The equipment changes the resistance and support you work with during controlled movement. Individual guidance is useful when learning an unfamiliar piece of apparatus: Hina can explain its setup, demonstrate movements and respond to your questions.
Mat Pilates uses mat-based movement, while the Reformer adds apparatus. Neither format is universally better. Your preference, goals, experience and the guidance you need can help you choose. Body Print also offers private Mat sessions and group Mat classes.
Start with a conversation
If you are unsure which format to choose, request a free 15-minute phone consultation. Discuss your experience, what you would like from the sessions and any questions about suitability. A requested consultation time needs Hina’s confirmation before it is booked.
Tell Hina about relevant injuries, conditions or restrictions before exercise. If you need clinical guidance about starting or returning to exercise, speak with your healthcare professional. Pilates instruction does not replace medical assessment or a prescribed rehabilitation programme.
What should I check before attending?
Confirm your appointment, arrival instructions and any access needs before travelling. Ask Hina about clothing, footwear and anything you need to bring. Do not assume that requirements for a community group Mat class also apply to a private Reformer appointment.
How much does a package cost?
As checked on 24 October 2026, four private Reformer sessions cost £229 total, paid once, with one session per week over four weeks. Other packages have different recurring billing terms. Review the live pricing widget and full terms before purchasing so that the package, validity and payment schedule are clear.
How quickly will I progress?
There is no fixed timetable for results. Your starting point, attendance and other circumstances affect how your practice develops. A useful early focus is understanding the equipment, asking questions and practising controlled movement at an appropriate level.
Your next step
Read the Reformer service page, then request a consultation if you would like to discuss starting. For a shared class environment, group Mat classes are available at local venues in Pinner and North Harrow; these use a different format from private Reformer sessions.
